Camberwell House

Not evident from the street, where the observer is presented with a flat façade punctured by relief openings, this dwelling is a series of connected skillions. The complexity of the building becomes obvious on entry, dominated by a courtyard incorporated to allow northerly light to flow into all living areas. The courtyard’s proximity to the kitchen’s large floating bench creates the perfect outdoor entertaining space. Panels of glass at the rear blur the line between interior and exterior.
